Our Basketball Program encourages student-athletes to develop skill, discipline, teamwork, and confidence in a competitive and supportive environment. Through hard work, sportsmanship, and dedication, players are challenged to grow as leaders while representing our school with character, integrity, and pride.

Kevin Shobe
Head Boys Basketball Coach

Coach Kevin Shobe, Head Boys Basketball Coach

Dr. Kevin Shobe was born in Louisville Kentucky. At the age of 16 years old he moved to Mobile, AL and that’s when Alabama became his new home. Kevin’s current residence is now in the city of Northport of Tuscaloosa, AL.

Kevin is married to Ashley Shobe and are parents of seven children. He is the face of hope for young men and women. Kevin is a God-fearing man where he attends church at Church of the Highland, located in Tuscaloosa, AL.

He is very passionate and involved in his community, and due to his hard work, he has received a Lifetime Achievement Award for doing over 5,000 hours of community service. He has also been awarded with the Honorary Doctorate of Humanities.
