North River Christian Academy seeks to provide the best possible Christian education at a reasonable price. NRCA is dependant upon the income received from tuition and registration fees for its daily operating expenses. The rates are established each year with the approval of the administration and school board. Every family makes a commitment to fulfill their financial obligations when applying for admission.
Registration Fee: In order to apply for admission to NRCA, a registration fee must accompany the application. The registration fee for new students is $100. Returning student registration rates are based on the date of re-enrollment. Tuition: The annual tuition for North River Christian Academy for the 2018-2019 school year is $3,950 per child for K5-6th grade and $4,150 per child for 7th-12th grade. K4 student tuition is $4,500 for the school year.
Tuition Discounts: There are tuition discounts offered for families with more than one child in the school, for families who chose to pay the entire year’s tuition in full by June 1st, and for families who refer other students to our school.
Book Fees: There are book rental fees charged for each grade level. The fees are as follows: K4 - $125; K5 - $175; Grades 1-6 - $225; and Grades 7-12 - $250. Book fees must be paid before the first day of school.
Additional Fees: Each student will be assessed an annual fee to cover standardized testing and scoring, ACSI and SACS student association dues, and one yearbook. This fee is $60 for K4 students and $100 for K5-12th grade students. Students graduating (K4, K5, and seniors) are also charged a graduation fee. Students who are involved in the sports program will be charged a fee for each sport played. Sports fees are $100 for each sport played. Spirit pack fees are an additional cost.
PAYMENT PLAN Tuition may be paid in one of the following ways:
Annually - Tuition is paid in one payment for the entire year and must be paid by June 1st to receive the 3% discount.
Monthly - Tuition is paid in either 10 monthly checks postdated the 1st of each month (August 1st-May 1st) or 12 monthly checks postdated the 1st of each month (June 1st-May 1st). Postdated checks must be given to the financial secretary. These will be secured and deposited monthly.
Credit Card - This option is available through the student's Gradelink account and tuition is due on the 1st of each month (August 1st-May 1st). This option is set up by the parent using their Gradelink account.
Payment is due before services are rendered.
Tuition is due on the 1st of the month. A late fee of $25 will be added to accounts not paid by the 10th of the month.
If accounts are more than 10 days late, services will not be rendered.
All returned checks will be charged a $30 fee. After two returned checks, all payments must be made with cash, money order, cashier's check, or credit card.
Tuition will be pro-rated for students entering school during the course of the year.
Students who attend any day of a given month will owe full tuition for that month. The student's account must be paid in full in order for report cards, transcripts, or records to be released.
All registration and book rental fees are non-refundable.
Multiple child discounts apply only to immediate family members living in the same household.
