Brother Randy is the founder and senior pastor of New Beginning Family Worship Center. He is a former Marine, police officer, registered nurse, and is a retired firefighter from the Tuscaloosa Fire Department.
He holds an Associate Degree in Nursing, a Bachelor of Biblical Studies, and a Certificate of Biblical Studies from Liberty University. Pastor Randy is married to his lovely wife, Beth, and they have three daughters and one son: Jesse, Annabeth, Alayna, and Micah.
At a very early age, the Lord made known to Randy in a revival setting in his old home church that he would become a preacher. He never shared that revelation with anyone else. In 1998, Randy walked the aisle to make public for the first time what God had revealed to him many years before. New Beginning Family Worship Center was birthed on Valentine's Day 1998, from a Bible study in the Fuller home.
As superintendent of North River Christian Academy and Preschool, Brother Randy's vision is to advance and make accessible a Christian education with a biblical worldview that instills character and promotes academic excellence. Through a dynamic partnership between the church, school, students, and parents, and with the power of the Holy Spirit, we can educate and equip our young people to discover their identity in Christ and to fulfill their God-given purpose in the earth.
Dan Habrial Administrator
Dan moved to Alabama with his family in the summer of 1994. He has a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Theology and a minor in Biblical Theology and is currently enrolled in Liberty University, working towards his master's degree in administration. He has eighteen years of teaching experience and sixteen years of administrative experience. He is an active member of Alberta Baptist Church where he serves as a deacon. At an early age Mr. Habrial said he was called by God to work in full-time Christian ministry in any capacity where God gifted him. We are extremely blessed at North River Christian Academy to have such a Godly man leading the school ministry.
“I was blessed with Godly parents who also were teachers for 30 years in the public school system. I grew up in a home where both of my parents were not only gifted teachers who loved to share their educational knowledge but also their strong knowledge of God’s Word. I feel a very clear calling of God upon my life to work with the students of NRCA to produce Godly young people who will leave this place and make an impact for Christ in the world around them.”
Paula Habrial Assistant Administrator
Paula moved to Alabama with her husband and four children in the summer of 1994. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education. She has twenty-three years of teaching experience and nine years of administrative experience. She holds a standard ACSI teaching certificate. She is an active member of Alberta Baptist Church where she is the church pianist and sings in the choir. As a teenager she decided to go into full-time Christian service. God led her to attend a Bible college where she made the decision to serve the Lord in whatever way He desired for her life. After college, she married her high school sweetheart (Mr. Habrial) and they continue to serve the Lord together. We are very thankful to have Mrs. Habrial as a part of our NRCA staff and faculty.
“I was tremendously blessed to have Christian parents who were the best examples that anyone could ever hope for. I hope to be that same kind of example for the students at NRCA. I am thrilled to be able to use my God-given skills and abilities to impact the lives of young people for Jesus Christ.”
